See, life is funny sometimes and although I'm a different woman now than the one who wrote this book - my writing will still have this theme. Who would have thought? If I could have seen the future back then, this book wouldn't exist. But this book needed to be published.Ĭause you know what? After 16 years without any contact at all, the man that I wrote these poems for came back into my life and he's now my husband. It was very hard for me to retype this book into a manuscript cause I had to go through everything my younger self felt! Hard and weird really! I mean, we vaguely remember past experiences and maybe that's the way it needs to be because some are just plain painful.
